Beach Mode (Keep It Simple)

Rp 320.000

Jessy Lanza's voice gives Ikonika's 'Beach Mode (Keep It Simple)' a human center without flattening its restless, house-leaning pulse. Hyperdub's HDB074 12-inch pairs the vocal track with a dub and a stripped 'Percapella,' letting the same motif move between song and club tool. The single preceded Ikonika's Aerotropolis in 2013.

"the coolly haunted tone it sets is immediately resonant"
Pitchfork Aerotropolis review on Beach Mode (quoted)
