Crinkle

On Crinkle, RS Tangent pulls dub techno away from its familiar haze and into a more physical, off-centre space. Robin Stewart builds Stomach from uneven drums and heavy low frequencies, while Compact tightens the pulse. The title track turns delayed fragments into rhythms of their own. Across four pieces, the effects do more than colour the tracks: they keep changing the shape of the beat.

"a set of twisted warehouse melters that apply advanced dub logic to pointillistic technoid rhythms."
Boomkat (quoted)
