Real Hair

Rp 320.000

Recorded at Sonelab with Paul Q. Kolderie, Real Hair condenses Speedy Ortiz's knotty guitar writing into four tracks. Sadie Dupuis's words turn conversational and evasive by turns, while 'American Horror' and 'Shine Theory' put sharp choruses inside the band's carefully loose arrangements. Issued by Carpark in 2014, the EP is small in scale but full of detail.

"These songs are easy to like, but they're even better when you lean in close."
Pitchfork (quoted)
